February 16 Chapter Meeting

From Technical Communicator to Project Manager and Beyond!

Karen Flam, Project Manager and Instructional Designer, will cover topics such as job titles, branding yourself and using social media to achieve your career goals. The presentation will consist of a fast-paced lecture along with an interactive breakout session.

About the Presenter

Karen Flam is an experienced Project Manager, Instructional Designer, and Trainer. Her background includes technology training at law and financial services firms in New York and Philadelphia as well as Project and Program management in the transportation and energy fields.  As a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Ms. Flam has designed and developed new-hire and continuing education programs for a variety of organizations.

When she is not training or facilitating learning in the corporate sector, Karen enjoys speaking on a variety of topics including clinical aromatherapy, holistic skin care and the use of essential oils.  She presented on Earth Day at PWC (PriceWaterhouseCoopers) to a group of computer programmers and developers on using essential oils to increase productivity in the workplace.
