“I’m a graduate student currently completing my master’s in technical communication online at Northeastern University. My concentration is in writing for the computer industry. I have a background in IT and technical support and over five years of experience as a freelance copywriter. Now I’m combining the two and breaking into technical writing. I currently write training manuals and other technical documentation for LPW training services. I also write articles for two retail industry magazines. I hope to take on more technical writing clients once I finish my master’s degree towards the end of this year.
I currently serve on the Board of Directors and as secretary for the Circadian Sleep Disorders Network. I send out reminders and write up the minutes for our quarterly Board meetings, which are conducted in an online forum. I also serve on the Advisory Board for Lansdale School of Business, where I completed my associate’s degree in computer technologies with a concentration in network administration back in 2011.”
