Want to kick your communications up a notch? A key part of delivering effective communication is knowing your audience. Sadly, many well-crafted communications miss the mark because they don’t meet the needs of the reader.
Whether you are speaking to a group of salespeople, engineers, customer service staff, or a mixed group, it’s important to understand the unique preferences of the various styles on the receiving end of your communication. The DISC model provides a common language that people can use to better understand themselves and adapt their approach with others – within a work team, a sales relationship, a leadership position, or other relationships.
Join IABC on Tuesday, Nov. 28, when humorist and organizational development professional, Theresa Hummel-Krallinger, will share how we can use the DISC model to more effectively communicate with others. She has been helping others achieve personal and organizational results for almost 30 years. And don’t be surprised if this funny lady has you laughing along the way.
Date/Time: Tuesday, November 28, 6-8 p.m.
